I saw a photo of an old house in Pittenweem, Scotland, at night, and I really wanted to paint it because the atmosphere touched me. It is deep in the night, but there is still a light on. That is why I named this painting ‘Still Awake’. There are so many people who know insomnia and know how long such a night can last. I wish everyone a healthy sleep!
